Sector SPDR ETFs: What's Moving the Market Dynamic Video

Problem

After seeing the success of the Data Integration Digital Banners that we developed for SPDR, and also knowing that video units out-perform display units in our digital campaigns, we wanted to come up with a way to combine the engagement-driving nature of the Data Integration Banners with a video unit to really drive results.

Solution

Working with Markit Digital, we were able to build a one-of-a-kind video unit that updates in real-time comparing the sector performance with the performance of the S&P 500 to highlight how owning the S&P 500 in sector pieces can offer a more precise and customized approach to investing.

Results

The performance of this unit has exceeded expectations. Users who view this video are 71% more likely to visit the SPDR site organically compared to other video units. They also spend 144% more time on the website and have a 5% lower bounce rate when they visit compared to people who visit after viewing other units.
