Solution
We showed investors what they were missing: the data. Targeting popular financial sites where financial professionals frequented, our media team worked with our third party ad server to create banner ads that compared the S&P 500’s real-time performance with each sector’s performance—it offered a no-brainer comparison that positioned Sector SPDR ETFs as a clear advantage for bigger gains and hedging against losses.
Results
Viewers of these ads came back to the SPDRs website 133% more than viewers of traditional display ads.
